The Academic Board is the principal academic body of the Institute responsible for approving academic proposals and for providing advice on academic policy, academic strategy and academic standards. The Board comprises TEN Members, including the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Principal Executive Officer (PEO), General Manager (GM), Financial Controller (FC), External University Academic who is a Professor of Engineering, External Health Professional who is a current MBBS qualified doctor, External IT Professional, One academic staff member and one from the student body.
Corporate governance is the system by which AEA business corporation is directed and controlled. By doing this, it also provides the structure through which the company objectives are set, and the means of attaining those objectives and monitoring performance. AEA corporate governance has wider implications and is critical to economic and social well being, firstly in providing the incentives and performance measures to achieve business success, and secondly in providing the accountability and transparency to ensure proper governance of the company.
